In Memariam: Mariam Al-Ameer

Mariam Al-Ameer was a beloved member of KARS. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love for others. She passed away during one of our courses, this page is dedicated to her memory.

قد ورد عن رسول الله ﷺ أنّه قال: "اهدوا لموتاكم، فقلنا: يا رسول الله وما هديّة الأموات؟ قال ﷺ : الصدقة والدعاء.
وقال ﷺ : إنّ أرواح المؤمنين تأتي كلّ جمعة إلى السماء الدنيا بحذاء دُورهم وبيوتهم ينادي كلّ واحد منهم بصوت حزين باكين: يا أهلي ويا وُلدي ويا أبي ويا أميّ وأقربائي: أعطفوا علينا يرحمكم الله بالّذي كان في أيدينا، والويل والحساب علينا والمنفعة لغيرنا... أعطفوا علينا بدرهم، أو رغيف، أو بكسوة يكْسوكم الله من لباس الجنّة. ثمّ بكى النبيّ ﷺ وبكينا معه، ثمّ قال ﷺ : أولئك إخوانكم في الدين فصاروا تراباً رميماً بعد السرور والنعيم، فينادون بالويل والثبور على أنفسهم يقولون: يا ويلنا لو أنفقنا ما كان في أيدينا في طاعة الله ورضائه ما كنّا نحتاج إليكم، فيرجعون بحسرة وندامة وينادون أسرعوا صدقة الأموات"
We have asked Kuwait's "Charity House Society" to set up a donations page for Mariam.
Why the Studio Ghibli theme?
Mariam loved Studio Ghibli. Before she passed away, she was enrolled in our "Intro to Web Development" course. All her projects were themed around Studio Ghibli. We decided to dedicate this page to her memory and use the Studio Ghibli theme as a tribute to rember her by.

Why we remember Mariam?
Mariam was a kind, generous, and loving person. She was always there for her friends and family. Her friends remember her kindness to this day. When she passed away, we were all devestated. We couldn't continue the course without her.
May Allah (SWT) have mercy on her soul and grant her the highest level of paradise.
اللهم ولا نعلم منها إلا خيرا، وأنت أعلم بسريرتها ونحن الشهداء بعلانيتها، اللهم فجاف الأرض عن جنبيها، ولقنها حجتها، واجعل هذا اليوم خير يوم اتى عليها، واجعل هذا القبر خير بيت نزلت فيه، وصيرها إلى خير مما كانت فيه، ووسع لها في مدخلها، وآنس وحشتها واغفر ذنبها، ولا تحرمنا أجرها، ولا تضلنا بعدها.
